Railway Recruitment Cell, East Central Railway (RRC ECR) has opened up applications for the position of apprentice in a number of trades. Interested and qualified applicants may apply online till December 9 at 5 p.m. for the RRC ECR Apprentice Recruitment 2023 at actappt.rrcecr.in. With the help of this recruitment drive, 1,832 openings for apprentices in a variety of trades will be filled.

  • Dhanbad Division: 156
  • Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Division: 518
  • Sonpur Division: 47
  • Samastipur Division: 81
  • Plant Depot/ Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya: 135
  • Carriage Repair Workshop/ Harnaut: 110
  • Mechanical Workshop/Samastipur: 110

These vacancies are available in the different Divisions/ Units under the East Central Railway including Plant Depot/ Mughalsarai, Mechanical Workshop/ Samastipur and Carriage Repair Workshop/ Harnaut, Dhanbad division, Mughalsarai division, Samastipur division and others.

Educational Qualification :

A recognized board and an ITI in a relevant trade (i.e., a National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or a Provisional Certificate issued by the National Council for Vocational Training/State Council for Vocational Training) with at least 50% of the total possible points are required of the applicant.

Age Limit :

Candidates should be aged between 15 years to 24 years as on January 1, 2023. Upper age limit relaxation is available for reserved category candidates.

Application Fee

The application fee is Rs 100 and it is non-refundable.

Selection Process :

Selection of candidates will be based on the marks obtained in Class 10 (minimum 50 per cent marks) and ITI examination. Both Class 10 and ITI examination will be given equal weightage.
